Please take the time to read all our policies as clarity, communication and understanding will ensure that we are always on the same page and achieving the best outcome possible.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, it is very important that you let us know as soon as you become aware that you are unable to attend. Appointment times are highly valuable and we must reserve all available spots for patients who require a booking.

ACCOUNTS & BILLING

Fees are to be paid in full prior to or immediately after seeing your therapist. In the event of electronic network failure, full payment is still expected on the day of consultation.
If you are paying using a private health fund or medicare, you may only claim benefits that are assigned to you. You will under no circumstance be able to claim benefits that belong to other people (e.g. Spouse).

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

Clients who miss an appointment entirely will be charged the consultation fee in full.
Clients who arrive late to an appointment may receive a shorter consultation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

It is expected that if you cannot keep an appointment, that you notify us as soon as possible by calling the practice and leaving a message if it is after hours.
If less than 6 hours notice is given, the full consultation fee will apply.
These policies apply to all clients irrespective of their method of funding (e.g. Workcover). In the case of compensable clients who have been permitted to bulk bill their consultation fees, cancellations and missed appointments must be paid separately by themselves and cannot be bulk billed.

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND CONSENT TO TREATMENT

Your physiotherapist and yourself will discuss your condition and determine the treatment options. You are encourage to communicate any concerns with your physiotherapist and are entitled to refuse any form of treatment.
Your physiotherapist may ask questions of personal nature in order to obtain a better understanding of your injury and therefore create a tailored and effective treatment plan.
It is likely that physical contact will be necessary during the course of examination, assessment and treatment. Please inform your physiotherapist if you have any concerns.
For the treatment of a minor this form must be signed by a custodian. Presence of a parent or caregiver is requested for anyone under the age of 16 years receiving treatment.
