As an Allied Health Provider following the guidelines outlined by the Australian Government and the Australian Physiotherapy Association, UniquePhysio continues to operate as an essential service.

Precautionary Health and Safety Measures are expected of patients attending the clinic

For your safety and to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we have carried out a thorough risk assessment to detect and mitigate risks for both you and our team. In order to see you face-to-face, the following precautionary Health and Safety measures are required.

You will not be able to have a face-to-face appointment if:

• You do not wear a face mask
• You don’t comply with all the Health and Safety measures listed above
• You have a confirmed OR suspected COVID-19 infection
• You have or have had cold or flu-like symptoms in the last seven days
• You live with or have been in contact with a person who is: confirmed OR suspected COVID-19 OR has symptoms of the illness
• You are considered high-risk and extremely vulnerable due to other health conditions

What we are doing to keep you and our team safe

• All staff at UniquePhysio are aware of the procedures in place, have a good understanding of infection control principles and have completed the Covid-19 infection control training.
• We are increasing our hygiene protocols. Cleaning and disinfecting the couch, chairs and all touch points/surfaces between uses.
• Minimising number of patients in the waiting room (4 including receptionists) and in the gym area (7 including clinicians).
• Our practitioners will be wearing all the necessary PPE at all times during your appointment and will clean hands prior to and after every single consultation.  
• Continually monitoring the situation and updating cautions in line with official advice.

Telehealth consultations still available

We are offering video consultations to anyone who is shielding or unable to come to the clinic in person.

What about Clinical Rehab Classes?

Clinical Rehab Exercise will continue as one-to-one.  The same precautionary Health and Safety Measures listed above are also expected for clients attending Clinical Rehab sessions and we ask you to please bring your own towel.
